Senior Pastor: Pete Milner

I was born and raised in the Wirral Merseyside yet from a very young age supported Man Utd, a dangerous choice (or is it a calling?) in that area. I am married to Sue and have three daughters and at present three grand-children. My interests are spending time with family, especially holidays together, football and reading. I was raised in a very close and loving non-church family and came to faith through the witness of a work colleague whilst serving my engineering apprenticeship.

As pastor I see my primary role as seeking God for the church, His direction grounded in God's Word. My role is also about supporting the body through relationship and visiting.

Development Coordinator: Michyla Hickling

(responsible for admin, coordination & development)

Hi - I'm Michyla! I was brought up by Christian parents (yes, the other 'Hickling' on the Leadership Team is my Dad!) and I made a commitment to Christ when I was about 11 years old.....which is obviously not too long ago! I’m in denial about the fact that it won’t be too much longer before I join the rest of the leadership team on the other side of 40!

I was brought up in Nottingham, although I escaped to Birmingham for 4 years where I studied Speech & Language Therapy at University. As well as working as a Speech & Language Therapist, my previous employments include coordinating youth training & post 16 education programmes. I'm usually ‘on the go’, although I do love the odd duvet day & blobby evening in! I’m always finding excuses not to go to the gym and I’m the proudest aunty of the 6 most amazing little people ever!

I’ve been in leadership here at Queensberry for 8 years and for the past 6 years I’ve been employed by the Church as the Church Coordinator. My role is very varied and has developed over the years, but in a nutshell I’m the person who generally organises things! I provide administrative support to the various ministries of the church as well as supporting Pete in his role. I’m on the Youth, Worship & Healing Rooms teams and I enjoy the challenge of preaching from time to time.
