We survived Slum Survivor!

Slum Survivor is a Soul Action initiative, challenging young people to live for a weekend as billions spend a lifetime - in a slum.

We spent the weekend of 27-28th October building & living in a slum on our church car park. We had to survive on basic rations of rice & porridge, as well as taking part in crazy 'slum tucker trials' to earn extra treats!

It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved - we raised money for SOUL ACTION's work amongst people who live in slums.....about £500 already! It also got us thinking about how we take so much of what we have for granted.
